Team

The Chair counts for the development of its activity with an expert research team, known for its scientific excellence, multidisciplinary approach, and balanced representation between women and men.

The research team of the Inditex-UDC Chair of AI in Green Algorithms has accumulated more than 1 300 scientific publications (38.65% of them in Q1 publications), nearly 15 000 citations and more than 21 million euros of competitive funding (regional, national and international) in 78 projects as principal investigators, and more than 50 M€ in 121 projects in the last 10 years, without acting as PIs.

The research team has leading experts in the respective areas of knowledge and lines of research present in the Chair, who have obtained important recognition at a global level. Thus, among the members of the team there are beneficiaries of ERC grants, National Research Awards, National Computer Science Awards, ADA Byron Awards, Advisors to the European Environment Agency, etc.
