Amparo Alonso, member of the HispanIA team to analyse opportunities and challenges of AI

HispanIA is a working group promoted by the National Foresight Office (dependent on the Prime Minister’s Office), with the aim of analysing the opportunities and challenges presented by the deployment of AI to tackle the five main challenges facing Spanish society in the long term:

– The modernisation of the productive network

– Strengthening the welfare state

– Achieving environmental sustainability

– Strengthening security and defence systems

– Reducing inequality

The team drafting the HispanIA 2040 Study is made up of 12 experts who, in collaboration with various organisations, have carried out this strategic analysis on the application of this technology.

Amparo Alonso, Professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, and researcher of the INDITEX UDC Chair of AI in Green Algorithms, is part of this reduced list of experts.
