Rubén Cuevas - Conferencia

On 28 January we had a new conference in the series Green Convergence: AI for a Sustainable Future. Through this series, we aim to present the public with scientific and professional profiles from a range of fields and disciplines related to green AI.

In this session, Rubén Cuevas, Professor at UC3M, took part as CEO of the company HIILI. The company has developed applications such as GreenBrain AI, which can identify the most suitable AI model when a user submits a query, based on criteria including performance, CO₂ emissions and economic cost, as well as other tools, able to analyse the CO₂ emissions generated by the use of generative AI models.

The aim of these initiatives is to encourage a more efficient and responsible use of artificial intelligence, as well as to raise awareness of its environmental impact.

Wednesday, January 28th at 12:00 pm

At CITIC – ICT Research Centre (UDC)
