Two members of the research team of the INDITEX-UDC Chair in AI for Green Algorithms, Olga Zamaraeva and Carlos Gómez Rodríguez presented their publication ‘Revisiting supertagging for faster HPSG parsing’ at the annual conference of Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing held in Miami (USA). This publication presents a greener algorithm for efficient natural language analysis.
This annual conference (EMNLP-2024) is one of the most relevant conferences in the world in its field, and was attended by around 3,500 researchers from all over the world, 3,200 of them in person. At the main conference, 1,271 publications were presented, with an acceptance rate of 20.8%.
