Participation of the Chair in the annual Workshop of the Open Innovation AI Research Community of META

Our colleague Brais Cancela, member of the research team of the INDITEX-UDC Chair in AI for Green Algorithms at the University of A Coruña, attended the 2024 research workshop organised by the META Open AI Community, which took place in London.

As a participant, Brais had the opportunity to share the results of his research in DL, Explainability and Green AI, together with a group of leading researchers from institutions around the world.

Brais is PI of the Ethic Deep learning project, which aims to develop new DL architectures focused on explainability with low energy consumption, while maintaining state-of-the-art performance. His main areas of interest include convex optimization, ML, explainable models and Green AI.
